Maintenance Technician

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the Angier area. They are in need of a Maintenance Technician helps minimize downtime by responding to maintenance needs, maintaining compliance, and supporting safe, reliable operations. This position also assists with basic shipping and receiving activities tied to facility operations.

Job Responsibilities -

- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues using appropriate tools and testing methods

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to reduce operational downtime

- Maintain facility systems including lighting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components

- Complete general building repairs such as doors, flooring, fixtures, and minor carpentry

- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvements

- Inspect incoming shipments, verify documentation, and route materials appropriately

- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation when required

Job Requirements -

- Associate"s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience (approximately 10 years)

- Experience with evaporators, water pumps, and electric

- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with troubleshooting capability

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications

- Proficient with CMMS systems, digital logs, and basic computer applications

- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

- Ability to lift, climb, and work in varied physical environments

- Forklift operation experience or willingness to be trained
