Lead Maintenance Technician

Location: Denton, TX

Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join an apartment community in Denton, TX.

Requirements

• EPA Certification Required
• Prior multifamily/apartment maintenance experience required
• CPO Certification Preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and lead a maintenance team
• Must be available for on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the maintenance team with daily operations
• Complete and prioritize service requests/work orders
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs
• Troubleshoot and complete apartment make-readies
• Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections
• Assist with maintaining building systems and equipment
• Coordinate and oversee vendors and contractors when needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory
• Ensure the community is clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in on-call rotation
• Help train and provide direction to maintenance team members
• Communicate effectively with the Property Manager regarding maintenance needs and projects
