Water Well Service Technician

The Water Well Service Technician specializes in servicing residential water wells. This role involves installing pumps, maintaining well systems, repairing equipment, and diagnosing system issues to ensure reliable water supply for residential customers. Effective communication with customers and thorough troubleshooting skills are essential to address and resolve well-related problems efficiently. The technician would initially get on site training in plumbing, electrical and pump related service work.

Responsibilities

• Install pumps in residential water wells
• Maintain and service well systems to ensure optimal performance
• Plumbing in PVC, PEX, copper and galvanized plumbing applications
• Electrical work related to well service specifically
• Operation of mini excavators and skid steers to be able to run water lines, electrical lines and complete backfill work
• Repair well equipment as needed
• Perform diagnostics on well systems to identify issues
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service and maintenance
• Troubleshoot well and pump problems efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Familiarity with safety compliance standards
• Strong customer service skills
