Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is located in Puyallup, Washington, at a Level III Trauma Center with 375 licensed beds. The role involves performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures within a fast-paced hospital environment. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts, primarily during days, with weekend rotations and on-call requirements. This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology and a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, including weekend rotation and on-call shifts 1-2 times per month, with some shifts being nights.
  • Required Qualifications: Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT CT certification), Washington state licensure, BLS certification, at least 1 year of acute care experience in a large Level 3+ facility, comfort in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens equipment, Dual Source CT 128 Flash, Definition 64 (interventional CT), and Definition Edge 128 during ER shifts.
  • Additional Information: The role involves working with EMR systems (EPIC), medication dispensing systems (Pyxis), and injection systems (MedRad). Support staff includes a Lead CT Tech, Respiratory Therapists, Hospitalists, Radiologists, and Radiology Physician Assistants. The department operates with up to five CT technologists during business hours, with on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends. Orientation includes a 1-week training period in the department, with potential extension. Scrub attire must be professional with any color, no logos or designs, and parking is provided free of charge.
