Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular/Interventional Laboratory provides specialized services including cardiac catheterization, angiography, peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement, venography, and cardiac pacemaker insertions. Both inpatient and one-day outpatient procedures are performed. This position involves supporting the operation of the catheterization laboratory and providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular interventions.
Job Details:
- Location: 50 N PERRY ST, PONTIAC, MI 48342, United States
- Schedule: Days shift; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/08/2026
- Required Qualifications: Two years of catheterization laboratory experience; certifications include Basic Life Support (AHA), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA)
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), RCIS, ACLS (AHA)
- On-Call Responsibilities: On-call days between 8-15 days when fully staffed, approximately 13 days currently; one full weekend every month
- Additional Information: Support for cardiac catheterization procedures, angiography, peripheral angioplasty, venography, and pacemaker insertions. The role involves assisting with various non-vascular interventional procedures within the cath lab setting.
