Electrical Service - ELECTRICIAN

Position Summary

Carolina Heating is seeking an experienced and dependable Residential Electrician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing residential and/or light commercial electrical systems while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining all safety and code requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems including wiring, panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and fixtures 

• Perform electrical inspections and troubleshoot system issues efficiently 

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams 

• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes 

• Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and safety concerns 

• Maintain accurate service documentation and job records 

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures 

• Participate in on-call rotation as required 

 

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on electrical experience 

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively 

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record 

• Strong customer service and communication skills 

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Electrical License preferred
• Residential service experience 
• Experience with service software or mobile dispatch systems 
• Generator, panel upgrade, transfer switch installations or specialty electrical experience
