Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Plate Maker for a growing printing industry employer in Modesto. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing, machine operation, quality control, printing, or production experience who are looking to develop a long-term career.

Previous flexographic plate-making experience is a plus, but training is available for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Schedule

• Training Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
• Regular Shift After Training: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Overtime available based on production needs

Pay

• $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
• Based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and production specifications.
• Produce accurate printing plates according to established procedures.
• Inspect finished plates for quality and accuracy.
• Cut, package, and prepare finished plates for delivery.
• Perform quality checks and document production information.
• Communicate issues or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper operation.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, production, machine operation, printing, or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Good visual acuity and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
