Salary: $165,000 - $195,000

Location: Onsite in the field throughout California (North Sacramento to Bakersfield)

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for a leading commercial construction client. This candidate will oversee large-scale industrial warehouse and tilt-up construction projects throughout California, serving as the primary liaison between ownership groups, field teams, and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate has extensive ground-up construction experience, strong financial and scheduling acumen, and excels at managing client relationships. This individual will play a key role in driving project success through proactive field leadership, budget oversight, schedule management, team coordination, and mentorship of junior construction professionals while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained

Day-to-Day:

• Visit active jobsites and oversee construction progress
• Conduct site walks with Superintendents
• Identify and resolve project issues before they impact timelines
• Meet with property owners and developers
• Provide project status updates and manage client expectations
• Track project costs and budgets
• Review and approve change orders
• Monitor construction schedules and prevent cost/schedule overruns
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Engineers, Estimators, Subcontractors, and Owners
• Mentor Project Engineers and help develop future Project Managers
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Maintain inspection records and project documentation

Must-Haves:

• Industrial warehouse/Tilt-Up construction experience
• 8-10+ years of experience managing Industrial Warehouses, Distribution Centers, Logistics Facilities, and Tilt-Up Concrete Buildings
• Ground-up commercial construction experience
• Strong owner/client-facing communication skills
• Budget management and project scheduling expertise
• Field-based project leadership experience

Annual Compensation:
$165,000,000 to $195,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law
