Job Description
Qualifications:
· Demonstrated ability to lead teams and provide design mentorship to staff engineers.
· In-depth knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and aviation regulations.
· Advanced proficiency in engineering, construction means and methods, and management principles.
· Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills required.
· Efficient time management methods.
· A strong work ethic, high EQ, teamwork, adaptability, conflict resolution skills.
· Self-motivated.
· Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and design accuracy.
· Proficient in use of computers: Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.; Adobe Pro; Bluebeam; Primavera or compatible software for Project Schedule.
· Knowledge of the following areas is desirable: Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD); Revit; AutoCAD; Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Job Duties:
Design Project Management
· Manage design schedules, budgets, and quality control processes for multiple projects.
· Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to ensure integrated solutions.
· Serve as primary point of contact for project sponsors during design phases, addressing technical and project-related inquiries.
· Lead the design efforts in project development, cost estimation, and resource planning.
· Drive continuous improvement in design processes and project delivery.
· Conduct tours, give briefings and presentations related to engineering/architecture projects.
· Ensure a robust quality assurance and quality control design review plan is followed.
