Oilfield Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and organized Dispatcher/Operations Coordinator to coordinate field employees, drivers, equipment, and customer service requests.

The ideal candidate can make quick decisions, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and determine service or equipment needs.
• Schedule and dispatch drivers and field employees.
• Provide accurate job details, including schedules, locations, equipment, PPE, and safety requirements.
• Track employees, trucks, and equipment.
• Ensure driver schedules comply with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Communicate with customers, employees, vendors, and other company locations.
• Prepare field tickets, manifests, bills of lading, receipts, reports, and billing documents.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve service issues.
• Coordinate equipment repairs, roadside assistance, permits, deliveries, supplies, and inventory.
• Assist with accident or incident reports and new-employee training.
• Help monitor the facility during assigned after-hours, weekend, or holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Dispatching, transportation, oilfield, logistics, or operations experience preferred.
• DOT and FMCSA knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Comfortable directing drivers and field employees.
• Basic computer, paperwork, and math skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate clearly in English.

Work Environment

This is primarily an office position but may occasionally require walking outside to locate or inspect equipment. After-hours, weekend, or holiday availability may be required.
