Regular schedule is Monday–Friday during standard business hours; the position may occasionally require swing-hour coverage to support EHS activities and events.

• Coordinating workers’ compensation claim activities, including reporting, follow-up, tracking accommodations, and documentation.
• Partnering with HR, leave of absence teams, workers’ compensation providers, managers, and EHS colleagues to support timely communication and coordination.
• Providing administrative support for EHS programs such as safety glasses, safety shoes, respiratory fit testing, and training coordination.
• Scheduling and organizing EHS meetings, trainings, appointments, and program activities.
• Maintaining EHS communication resources, training materials, and program areas in an audit-ready manner.
• Supporting EHS event planning, including logistics for activities and annual hearing testing.
• Assisting with EHS-related inspections, documenting findings, and tracking corrective actions to closure.
• Preparing reports, summaries, metrics, and records for EHS programs and leadership review.
• Supporting purchase requisitions, supply ordering, and expense reporting for EHS-related activities.
• Handling additional EHS tasks, projects, and initiatives as assigned.

• Have 3+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, workers’ compensation coordination, HR/LOA support, or administrative program coordination — OR a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with associates, management, HR, and external partners.
• Possess experience maintaining accurate records, tracking open actions, and preparing data reports.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Are able to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform tasks involving standing, sitting, walking, and repetitive motions.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with workers’ compensation claim coordination, leave of absence administration, or occupational health support.
• Background in supporting EHS programs, compliance tracking, training coordination, or inspection follow-up.
• Experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, medical device, biotechnology, or other regulated environment.
• Strong Excel, SharePoint, and data reporting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to follow-up and action completion.
