Front Yard Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Front Yard Forklift Operator to support daily operations by preparing jobs and loading trucks in the front yard area. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workflow efficiency and ensuring materials are staged and loaded accurately and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely to move, stage, and load materials
• Assemble and prepare jobs for delivery or pickup
• Load trucks accurately and efficiently according to schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized front yard work area
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with yard staff, drivers, and supervisors
• Perform basic equipment checks and report any issues

Qualifications

• Prior forklift operating experience required
• Willingness to be trained on job-specific processes and procedures
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Dependable with a solid work ethic
• Ability to lift, move, and position materials as needed

Schedule & Compensation

• Hours: 40-48 hours per week
• 1st shift Monday -Thursday 6:00a to 4:30p and Friday 6:00a to 11:00a every Friday and sometimes to 2:30p.
• Pay Rate: $18 with the opportunity for a raise in as little as 3 months.
