Job Description
As a Flexographic Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining flexographic printing presses used in the production of corrugated packaging and paperboard products. You will ensure that production targets, print quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. Your tasks will include setting up, registration, ink adjustments, quality inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. You will also install and align print plates, cylinders, dies, and ink systems, and adjust press settings to achieve proper registration, color consistency, and print quality. Monitoring production runs and performing quality checks throughout the process will be essential.
Responsibilities- Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain flexographic printing presses.
- Ensure production targets, print quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
- Perform setups, registration, ink adjustments, and quality inspections.
- Troubleshoot issues and conduct preventive maintenance.
- Install and align print plates, cylinders, dies, and ink systems.
- Adjust press settings for proper registration, color consistency, and print quality.
- Monitor production runs and conduct quality checks.
- 1+ years of experience in flexographic printing press operation preferred.
- Experience with corrugated packaging, folding carton, or paperboard printing is highly desirable.
- Ability to read production orders, specifications, and measurements.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of color management, ink systems, and print registration.
- Experience with press brake and machine operation.

Work EnvironmentYou will initially train on the 1st shift (6am to 2:30/3:30pm) and then transition to the 7pm-7am shift post-training. The work environment is climate-controlled and clean, with ongoing facility and equipment upgrades. Although operations are currently on hold for 24/7 schedules, plans are in place to resume soon.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
