About Lakeshore Tire & Auto Service DBA Cruise Transmission and Auto Repair

Lakeshore Tire & Auto Service DBA Cruise Transmission and Auto Repair is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join its growing team in Charlevoix, MI.

This is an opportunity for a technician who enjoys variety and wants to continue developing their skills. You'll work on a range of makes and models while performing general automotive repair, diagnostics, and advanced mechanical work, with opportunities to take on transmission repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform automotive repair and maintenance on a variety of makes and models
\n
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and complete needed repairs
\n
• Perform transmission and advanced mechanical repairs
\n
• Maintain quality workmanship while working efficiently
\n
• Collaborate with a small, team-oriented shop

Qualifications

\n
• Minimum 3 years of automotive technician experience in an independent repair shop
\n
• Automotive diagnostic experience
\n
• Transmission repair experience preferred
\n
• ASE Certifications are a plus
\n
• Willingness to obtain ASE Certifications
\n
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
\n
• Ability to adapt to a variety of responsibilities in a smaller shop environment
\n
