Outside Salesperson for Massachusetts

Abacus Distributing is seeking an energetic person to service existing chain accounts and develop new accounts in the assigned territory. Territories are available statewide...The candidate will be expected to build a territory with both retail and restaurant accounts in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have wine knowledge and a basic understanding of spirits. Along with spirits, you will be responsible for expanding our growing Asian portfolio, including Hodori, which is experiencing explosive growth. Prior retail liquor experience is preferred. \nRoles & Responsibilities:\n
\nALL Acquire and demonstrate product knowledge and effectively present products to accounts.\n
\n Meet sales expectations on a weekly basis without constant management supervision\n
\n Provide daily and monthly reports as required\n
\n Attend weekly meetings and training sessions\n
\n Perform product demonstrations/tastings as required to promote sales\n
\n
\nMinimum Requirements:\n
\n
\n Should possess a strong base knowledge of liquor, wine and beer\n
\n Must reside in Massachusetts at the time of application to be considered\n
\n Must be a self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and meet goals\n
\n Have good time-management skills\n
\n Work with supplier representatives as requested\n
\n Always looking for new opportunities to succeed\n
\n Strong Follow-up skills with a no excuses attitude\n
\n Must be able to build displays with cases up to 35lbs with no restrictions\n
\n
\nCompensation: 100% commission (10% wine, 3% liquor, and 3% beer).\n
\n
\nWe pay monthly expenses (up to $400 / month)\n
\n
