Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)
Location\nMcAllen, Texas
Schedule / Job Type\nContract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 6-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients throughout all stages of labor \n
- Assist in the operating room during cesarean sections \n
- Monitor fetal heart rates using electronic fetal monitoring equipment \n
- Manage antepartum patients with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio \n
- Maintain 1:1 patient ratios during final stage labor and C-section procedures \n
- Float to Post-Partum unit as needed and rotate weekends and on-call shifts \n

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license \n
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience \n
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification \n
- Current BLS certification \n
- Current EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification \n
- Proficiency with fetal heart monitors, ultrasound, and OR equipment \n

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) \n
- Experience with Meditech EMR system \n
- Assertive, friendly demeanor with strong critical thinking skills \n
- \n
- Work in a well-staffed Labor & Delivery unit with a supportive team environment including CNCs, RNs, and CSTs on every shift \n
- Gain travel nursing experience in a dynamic clinical setting with exposure to both L&D and antepartum care \n
