Registered Nurse (RN) Surgical Suite - MEEJob Description Summary
\n Utilizing the nursing process, responsibility for providing for immediate and
\n long-term nursing care needs of patients within the standards of the
\n department, hospital and regulatory agencies.

\n Essential Functions
\n - Accurately assesses patients’ needs.
\n -Utilizes multiple data sources to determine actual/potential health problems
\n and functional status.
\n -Utilizes Recovery Oriented Framework to identify patient strengths.
\n - Performs point of care testing.
\n - Communicates findings effectively to members of the healthcare team.
\n - Documentation reflects response to intervention, demonstrates an
\n understanding of patients’ response to treatment interventions.
\n - Identifies patient behaviors that contribute to the development of a crisis;
\n utilizes non-verbal and verbal techniques to de-escalate crisis
\n situation.
\n -Accurately plans nursing interventions for assigned patients.
\n - Modifies and individualizes Nursing Plan of Care and protocols.
\n - Participates in the development of the multidisciplinary treatment
\n plan.
\n - Demonstrates ability to prioritize patient care needs.
