Performance Objectives
  • Deliver exceptional patient-centered eye care services to over 300 patients per month, ensuring accurate diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye health and vision problems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary health care teams to integrate vision care with broader health services, ensuring comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
  • Organize and lead community outreach programs aiming to increase awareness and accessibility of eye care services, targeting underserved populations and achieving a 20% increase in patient engagement within the first year.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all Fetter Health Care Network policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Utilize advanced optometric tools and technology to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency, contributing to a 15% improvement in patient outcomes.
  • Actively participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives to stay at the forefront of optometric care and improve service delivery standards.
Environment & Resources

As an integral part of our team, you will be working in a supportive environment alongside experienced health professionals. You will have access to state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and electronic health record systems. You will report directly to the Clinical Director and collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Essential Qualifications
  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school.
  • Valid South Carolina license to practice optometry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally within a community health setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and apply collaborative treatment strategies.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds.
