Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions, aligned with department objectives.
- Serve as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups, collaborating with other clinicians and team members.
- Implement and monitor individualized therapy plans, document patient progress, and adjust plans as clinically indicated.
- Provide safe, evidence-based OT interventions focused on functional mobility, activities of daily living, and patient education.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to explain goals, progress, and discharge planning needs.
- Participate in care conferences and contribute to continuity of care within the acute care setting.

Requirements
- Active California license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Relevant experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment and participate in a travel assignment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Availability to work the listed shift: 5x8 days
