Required Qualifications

  • Active California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license – Required
  • ARRT certification – Required:
    • R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT), OR
    • R.T. (R)(ARRT)
  • BLS certification from an approved vendor – Required
  • Fluoroscopy license – Required in California if the technologist operates fluoroscopy equipment
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology – Preferred
  • CT advanced certification – Preferred in California
  • Venipuncture certification – Preferred in California

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong CT imaging experience
  • Ability to operate CT equipment and produce high-quality cross-sectional images
  • Experience with general radiography and fluoroscopy
  • Ability to perform imaging procedures for patients from adolescents through geriatric populations
  • Experience creating sagittal and coronal reformatted images
  • Proficiency with PACS and teleradiology systems
  • Ability to accurately transfer images for radiologist interpretation
  • Knowledge of patient safety and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA
  • Ability to maintain accurate patient records, imaging files, and billing information
  • Equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management
