Required Qualifications
- Active California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license – Required
- ARRT certification – Required:
- R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT), OR
- R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- BLS certification from an approved vendor – Required
- Fluoroscopy license – Required in California if the technologist operates fluoroscopy equipment
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology – Preferred
- CT advanced certification – Preferred in California
- Venipuncture certification – Preferred in California
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong CT imaging experience
- Ability to operate CT equipment and produce high-quality cross-sectional images
- Experience with general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Ability to perform imaging procedures for patients from adolescents through geriatric populations
- Experience creating sagittal and coronal reformatted images
- Proficiency with PACS and teleradiology systems
- Ability to accurately transfer images for radiologist interpretation
- Knowledge of patient safety and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records, imaging files, and billing information
- Equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management
