Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in Towson, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized support in an interventional cardiology setting, including performing and assisting with complex cardiac procedures. The position is suitable for candidates with recent experience in interventional scrub procedures within a high-volume cardiac interventional center.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 4x10-hour shifts, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotating days as needed, Monday through Friday
  • Required Qualifications: Certified Radiologic Technologist with ARRT-R and/or RCIS certification, BLS, and ACLS certifications; Maryland or Compact state license; 2 years of recent interventional cardiac scrub experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, PFO, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and the use of GE Innova IGS, Phillips, and GE MacLab systems.
  • Responsibility Areas: Assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and structural procedures such as PFO/ASD closures, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman, including equipment setup, sterile techniques, and hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics undergoing cardiology procedures.
  • On-call Requirements: Up to 13 weekdays per contract, including weekends and holidays, with on-call coverage from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday and Friday through Monday.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope as needed; no special scheduling requests can be guaranteed; applicants should be prepared to undergo onboarding and compliance processes within specified deadlines.
