Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Xray Technologist in Eureka, California. This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting. The selected candidate will provide high-quality patient care while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California license in hand, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, Fluoro certification, at least 1 year of experience.
  • Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Fluoro.
  • Experience: 1 year of X-ray technology experience, fluoroscopy experience, charting experience using Epic software preferred, previous acute care hospital and community hospital experience required.
  • Open to First-timers: Yes.
  • Floating: Travelers may be expected to float between units or nearby facilities; refusal to float may impact employment status.
  • Holidays: Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
  • Additional Information: The assignment requires working in a busy acute care hospital with a patient census and interdisciplinary support. The technician will be handling various imaging procedures including abdomen, chest, extremities, and specialized studies such as barium enema, contrast procedures, and portable imaging.
