Accounts Receivable Specialist

Are you an experienced accounting professional with strong Accounts Receivable skills and QuickBooks experience? We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing accounting team. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow by managing invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliations, and collections activities.

What You'll Do

• Create and distribute accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Process and apply incoming payments including checks, ACH transfers, wire transfers, and credit card payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Contact customers professionally to collect outstanding balances.
• Reconcile daily receipts to open invoices and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and account status.
• Prepare monthly aging reports and assist with month-end close activities.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting procedures.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or a related finance role.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High school diploma required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
