Position: RN/LPN Unit Manager
Facility: Beach Breeze Rehab and Care
Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Salary: $77,500 - $87,500 annually
Shift: Full-Time

Join Our Team as an RN Unit Manager!

Beach Breeze Rehab and Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN/LPN Unit Manager to lead and support our nursing team in delivering exceptional care. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical and leadership skills, a passion for patient-centered care, and a commitment to quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Director and Associate Director of Nursing in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department.

• Ensure nursing staff are performing according to their job descriptions and professional standards.

• Participate in state and federal surveys and inspections.

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized resident care plans.

• Oversee LPN and CNA evaluations, and handle staff disciplinary actions, hiring, and terminations as needed.

• Monitor staffing levels to maintain quality care on all shifts.

• Conduct regular rounds to assess staff performance, resident needs, and facility conditions.

• Address resident and family concerns and communicate effectively with physicians and nursing administration.

• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.

• Monitor medication administration and treatment schedules.

• Provide direct patient care when necessary.

• Collaborate with the MDS team and assist in timely MDS documentation.

• Perform audits, chart reviews, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and policies.

• Respond to changes in resident condition and ensure emergency preparedness.

• Oversee narcotic counts, maintenance needs, new admissions, and discharge planning.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Florida (unencumbered)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing, or healthcare setting

• At least 6 months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing
