Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that tanks and vessels meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, analyzing data, and implementing quality assurance processes to maintain compliance with industry regulations, including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. The Quality Control Inspector will play a crucial role in upholding the integrity of our production processes and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
• Analyze inspection results and prepare detailed reports on findings, including any non-conformance issues.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement in quality systems and processes.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures in accordance with ASME and API guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.
• Participate in internal audits and assist in the preparation for external audits related to ISO certifications.
• Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance practices and standards.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality management systems.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Experience with QA/QC processes and methodologies.
• Familiarity with ASME and API principles and their application in manufacturing environments.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
