A mission-driven Community Health Center is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide comprehensive primary care in Edenton, North Carolina. Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)

Primary practice location: Edenton, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Perform health assessments and wellness examinations
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic testing
• Promote preventive care and patient education
• Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner
• Strong primary care assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Commitment to serving rural and medically underserved communities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
