Dump Truck Driver

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate heavy duty dump trucks to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various job sites. Your expertise in trucking driving, route planning and safety compliance will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

To do well in this role you will meet the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform assigned duties. You must be willing to work full-time and Saturdays as needed.

Dump Truck Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate dump trucks, including models with manual transmissions, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires and fluid levels.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and maintenance needs for each trip.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate delivery times and resolve any issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, or other freight using appropriate equipment.
• Assist with securing loads on flatbeds when necessary to ensure safe transport of equipment.

Dump Truck Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean driving record
• At least 2 years driving experience
• Must be able to comply with DOT requirements
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving and knowledge of safety protocols related to freight transport and vehicle maintenance
