General Laborer – Industrial Yard

Location: Lafayette, LA
Pay: $15.00/hour
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable General Laborer to work in an industrial yard environment. This position involves physical labor, operating a forklift, blending chemicals, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting with general yard duties.

Responsibilities:

• Blend and handle chemicals according to company procedures and safety guidelines.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment.
• Perform general industrial yard work and cleanup.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Walk up and down catwalks throughout the workday (approximately 4 steps).
• Frequently reach, bend, lift, push, and pull as needed.
• Lift and move materials as required for the job.
• Follow all company safety procedures and instructions.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous industrial, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, climb steps, and lift materials.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team.
