HSEQ Specialist

The HSEQ Specialist helps ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations by conducting field audits, supporting employee training, maintaining compliance records, and assisting with incident investigations. This position regularly supports operations in both Midland, TX and Carlsbad, NM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field safety audits and inspections.
• Coach employees on safe work practices, JSAs, and hazard recognition.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain training and compliance records.
• Coordinate safety meetings and training programs.
• Manage safety reporting and compliance systems.
• Support customer, regulatory, and company safety requirements.
• Respond to incidents as needed, including after-hours situations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of HSEQ, safety, or compliance experience in oil & gas, energy, or industrial operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and safety regulations.
• Experience with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Experience with safety management systems preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between Midland and Carlsbad field locations.
