We’re seeking a friendly, dependable Part-Time Retail Customer Service Associate to support daily operations at our Emporium in Castaic. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a retail environment, and brings a positive, can‐do attitude to work each day.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3–4 days per week
• Hours: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (4 hours per day)
• Location: Castaic, CA 91384
• Pay: $20–$21 per hour
• Requirement: Must be able to pass a background check

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable, and customer‐focused
• Dependable and consistent with attendance
• Comfortable working in a retail setting
• Willing to learn and take initiative
• A strong communicator, both in person and over the phone

Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

• Operating the register and processing payments (cash, checks, credit cards)
• Providing excellent customer service
• Assisting customers with uniforms and general merchandise
• Processing transactions using a POS system
• Receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise
• Maintaining a clean, organized retail space
• Supporting inventory, merchandising, and store promotions as needed

The role also requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with assistance available for heavier items.
