Part-Time Dietary Aide

The Haven Assisted Living at Bethany is accepting applications for a part-time AM Dietary Aide (7:30am-2:00pm). Applicants must be available to work on some weekends and holidays. Prepares and delivers meals to residents by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepare coffee, tea, juices, and other beverages for service.
• Assist in preparation and service of meal trays.
• Assist the cook in preparation of vegetables, fruits, salads, and desserts.
• Assure cleanliness in the dining areas.
• Respond to any other regular or special tasks as required by the cook in charge or Supervisor
• Places items such as eating utensils, napkins, and condiments on trays.
• Assist in food storage when orders arrive.
• Serves meals to residents.
• Collects and stacks dirty dishes on cart and returns cart to kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area, tables, cabinets, and ovens.
• Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
