Material Handler

Luxor Staffing is hiring Material Handlers paying $18.85 per hour with 2nd shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

• 2nd Shift/ 3:00PM- 11:30PM/ Mon-Fri w/ occasional Overtime

● Must have bracing/ reloading experience.

Responsibilities

● Manually or using a hand truck performs various material handling duties in the facility.

● Manually loads finished product on pallet or hand truck.

● Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas.

● Associates will manually load and unload materials or use hand trucks.

● Basic math skills are required.

● During the summer months, candidates must be able to work in hot environments, as containers can become extremely hot.

● Build pallets between 4ft to 6ft high

● Aside from loading/unloading containers, the candidates will also clean their work area and offices to maintain a safety hazard workplace.

Qualifications

● Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.

● Must be able to lift and/or pull 20lbs -80 lbs without restriction.

● Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.

● Walking in the distribution center and around the area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length.

● Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.

● Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed by the customer

● Must have attention to detail

Requirements

● Must have bracing/ reloading experience.

● Must have basic knowledge in power tools such as using a hammer and/or power drill
