Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (INTRA CL) professional position located in an acute care setting. This role involves providing specialized support within the interventional radiology suite, including scrub, circulate, and monitor duties, primarily focusing on vascular procedures. The assignment remains active from September 8, 2026, through December 8, 2026, with a rotating shift schedule.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 12 months of current interventional vascular/angiographic lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting; scrub, circulate, and monitor experience; Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) experience in a hospital or medical center; current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures; level I trauma experience preferred; peripheral vascular experience; Iowa Radiology license highly preferred (considering licensing candidates); active ARRT (R) required; ARRT (CI or VI) highly preferred; RCIS/CCI credentials nice to have; BLS certification; valid Iowa state radiology license preferred; American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross BLS certification preferred; work history demonstrating 12 months of similar experience; drivers license required; skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR lab required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting Operating Room procedures; level I trauma experience.
- Submission Requirements: Clinical interview pre-screening with a 405 area code; documentation of Iowa Radiology license (if applicable); ARRT certification; BLS certification.
- Additional Information: Work includes support during vascular procedures, coverage of both facilities with emergencies primarily at the level I trauma center, and participation in a call schedule every third evening and weekend.
- Holidays: Contractor may be required to work 1-2 of the three upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
- Call Schedule: Every third evening and weekend, with call back at 1.5x multiplier for a minimum of two hours; on-call pay is $9 per hour.
