Interventional Radiology (IR) Specialist in en_US The available position involves providing specialized radiologic procedures within a healthcare facility. The IR professional will perform independent IR interventions, handle on-call responsibilities, and work a day schedule. The role requires expertise in thrombectomy devices and angiographic procedures, ensuring quality patient care and safety.
Job Details
- Position Description: IR Interventional Radiology Specialist The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of IR experience and be capable of working independently in IR procedure rooms while managing on-call duties for trauma cases.
- Certifications and Education Requirements: CT (Computed Tomography) and IR (Interventional Radiology) ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certifications. Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology. Radiology MA (Medical Assistant) license and Registration RT ARRT required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of IR experience required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Work includes thrombectomy device procedures (PE/Stroke), angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty, and handling IV access and imaging.
- Other Requirements: GE or Siemens equipment knowledge; scrubbing and circulating experience; weekend and on-call coverage required. Orientation scheduled weekly, every Monday, barring holidays. Please provide available dates and times for interview at submission. All RTO requests must be presented at the time of submission.
- Additional Notes: Locals are accepted. Travel is not required for this role.
