Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehab/acute care unit, ideal for candidates with 1+ year of experience.
Details
- Inpatient rehab (IRF) and acute care unit within a hospital setting
- 13-week assignment with a flexible schedule of 5x8 or 4x10 shifts, Monday through Friday
- One Saturday shift per month with a corresponding flex day off during the week
- Scheduled every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
- Floating occurs between IRF and acute care units
- Utilizes specialized equipment including Lite Gait, BITS, Nustep, and IASTM
- Documentation completed in Meditech
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required, if applicable
- 1+ year of experience preferred
- Inpatient rehab and acute care experience preferred but not required
- Basic Occupational Therapy skills as an independent clinician
- Willingness to learn and remain flexible throughout the day
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
