Maintenance Tech - Now Hiring

Overview
Mosaic Wellness & Recovery is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team at our new detox and mental health treatment facility located in Johns Creek, Georgia. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for clients, staff, and visitors.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and experienced in facility maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance within a residential or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.

• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.

• Repair and maintain doors, locks, walls, lighting, appliances, furniture, and fixtures.

• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and facility inspections.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs.

• Maintain facility grounds and assist with seasonal or exterior upkeep.

• Identify safety concerns and report operational issues to leadership.

• Assist with room setups, furniture moves, and facility projects as needed.

• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when appropriate.

• Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, and repair documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.

• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs required.

• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, hospitality, or residential settings preferred.

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.

Work Environment

• Full-time, on-site position.

• Occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities may be required.

• Physical requirements include standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting, and carrying equipment or supplies.
