Paint Line Parts Handler

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time, Tuesday-Friday, 5:30 AM-3:30 PM. Overtime on Mondays as needed. Penmac Staffing is seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals for a Paint Line Parts Handler position with a local manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a long-term manufacturing role with a steady schedule and opportunities to learn multiple areas of the production process. As a Paint Line Parts Handler, you will play an important role in ensuring painted parts meet quality standards and are handled correctly throughout the production process. Team members may be assigned to different stations along the paint line and may rotate duties as directed by supervisors.

Requirements for the Paint Line Parts Handler

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, production documents, specifications, and work instructions
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively with supervisors and co-workers
• Previous powder coating or paint line experience is preferred, but not required

Paint Line Parts Handler Responsibilities

• Hang parts and components on the paint line
• Inspect painted products for runs, sags, missed areas, and other quality issues
• Handle finished products carefully to prevent damage
• Follow quality and safety procedures throughout the production process
• Assist at different workstations as assigned by supervisors or managers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements for the Paint Line Parts Handler

• Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequently use hands and arms to handle materials and parts
• Reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to distinguish colours and visually inspect painted surfaces for defects and quality concerns
