Experienced Auto & Boat DetailerFull-Time | Brainerd Lakes Area Typical Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Penmac Staffing in Brainerd is hiring an Experienced Auto & Boat Detailer for a locally owned detailing company in the Brainerd Lakes Area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing showroom-quality results and wants to work with a company that values craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail. We're looking for someone who can work independently, stay focused without constant supervision, and consistently deliver high-quality work on vehicles and boats. Candidates with advanced detailing skills will be highly considered.

Requirements for the Auto & Boat Detailer

• Previous auto detailing experience required
• Boat detailing experience preferred
• Buffing and paint correction experience highly preferred
• Ceramic coating experience is a major plus
• Strong understanding of detailing techniques, products, and equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and work with hands for extended periods
• Valid driver's license preferred

Auto & Boat Detailer Responsibilities

• Interior and exterior detailing of cars, trucks, SUVs, and boats
• Washing, waxing, polishing, buffing, and paint correction
• Applying ceramic coatings and protective finishes
• Vacuuming, shampooing, stain removal, and deep interior cleaning
• Cleaning and conditioning leather, vinyl, and specialty surfaces
• Safely using detailing tools, equipment, and cleaning products
• Inspecting finished work to ensure exceptional quality standards
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional workspace

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Typical hours are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Schedule may vary slightly based on shop workload and customer needs
• No weekends
• No holidays

Pay & Growth Opportunity

• $17.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Most qualified candidates will likely fall within the $17.00-$20.00 per hour range
• Candidates with significant detailing expertise, especially in paint correction, buffing, and ceramic coatings, may be considered for pay up to $25.00 per hour
• Opportunity for a performance and wage review after approximately 30 days
