Facilities Security Supervisor

FACILITIES SECURITY SUPERVISOR

Financial & Realty Services, LLC dba FRS Professional Services, LLC (FRS), a facilities management firm located in Calverton, MD is recruiting for a Facilities Security Supervisor to support out federal client in McLean, VA.  The position serves as the point person for all site security matters, ensuring guard coverage, compliance with facility procedures, quality assurance, incident documentation, and continual evaluation of security operating conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and evaluate all security guards assigned to the site to ensure all tasks are performed at the highest level of quality.
• Review security reports regularly and assess day-to-day security operating conditions; recommend corrective actions to the COR       Serve as the primary site contact for security policy, procedures, and operational matters.
• Issue, revise, and ensure adherence to site security policies and procedures aligned with 
• the facility’s most recent SOP.
• Coordinate day-to-day security operations and disseminate procedural information to all security guards working on-site.
• Maintain and support required reporting systems, including daily activity report system, visitor log, security roving patrol reports, serious incident reports, security journal and other records required by the SOP
• Ensure compliance with entry control, visitor processing, patrol and response, control 
• center operations, and training expectations.
• Ensure security operations deter, detect, delay, deny, and diminish threats to federal 
• property, while supporting the safety and well-being of employees and visitors.
• Oversee and coordinate additional staffing response requirements, including on-call response force when specifically requested by the COR.
• Ability to provide four additional guards within four hours of COR notification for limited 
• durations (1 to 48 hours), fully equipped and ready to report 
• Support continual and initial training requirements; ensure personnel receive required SOP 
• training and updates.
• Enforce standards of conduct, appearance, uniform compliance, and physical readiness;
• initiate immediate replacement of personnel when directed due to noncompliance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five (5) years of security services management experience.
• Must maintain a minimum Level 2 security guard licensing (Virginia DCJS private security 
• registration required).
• Experience supervising security operations in federal facilities or high public access 
• Environments preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with guard force management, access control, incident reporting,and SOP-driven operations.
• Familiarity with surveillance/monitoring and digital recorder/surveillance camera operations
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Pass DOT personnel background checks (as required).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Completion of a state or local sanctioned basic security guard/officer training program 
• meeting licensing requirements and issuance.
