Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Williston, ND
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Job Type: Full-Time | 12-Month Contract
Pay: $24.00–$30.00 per hour
Position Overview
SGF Global is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support equipment maintenance operations in Williston, ND. This role is responsible for maintaining industrial mechanical equipment, improving equipment reliability, and supporting efficient maintenance operations.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience maintaining industrial OEM mechanical equipment, understands preventive and reliability-centered maintenance practices, and is comfortable documenting maintenance activities through computerized maintenance systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional looking for a long-term contract assignment in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned industrial equipment.
- Maintain equipment according to established maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues and support repair activities.
- Document maintenance activities, labor, materials, and equipment history in computerized maintenance systems.
- Maintain accurate records of parts, supplies, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Support equipment reliability and asset utilization initiatives.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on maintenance efficiency and cost reduction.
- Assist maintenance teams with troubleshooting, repairs, and productivity improvements.
- Follow established safety, maintenance, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience maintaining industrial OEM mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Technical education, training, or certifications in mechanical maintenance preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to accurately document maintenance activities and equipment history.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting equipment failure investigations.
- Experience supporting mechanical repair projects.
- Familiarity with Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems.
- Experience with reliability-centered maintenance programs.
- Background in oil & gas, energy, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or field service environments.
