Job Title: PACE Scheduler

Location: Pinellas Park, FL

Pay Rate:$16.00/hr.

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization, documentation, and time-management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with multiple teams
  • Healthcare scheduling or administrative experience preferred

Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and customer-focused PACE Scheduler to provide administrative and scheduling support for the PACE Center. Under the supervision of the Operations Director, the PACE Scheduler will coordinate participant appointments, transportation, documentation, and communication to help ensure timely and efficient continuity of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule participant appointments with community providers and specialists
  • Coordinate transportation for scheduled appointments
  • Ensure providers receive required documentation before appointments
  • Accurately enter scheduling information into electronic medical records
  • Communicate appointment information with participants, families, providers, and PACE staff
  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), clinic staff, and leadership
  • Respond promptly to appointment requests and scheduling changes
  • Provide coverage for Care Team Assistants as directed
  • Maintain accurate records and follow established scheduling procedures

Preferred Experience:

  • 1+ year of healthcare scheduling or administrative experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT codes
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred
