Join a Truly Homelike Nursing Facility in Middleborough, MA!
Are you a licensed nurse looking for more meaningful work and better connections with your residents? At Hannah B.G. Shaw Home, we're redefining what nursing care looks and feels like - and we want you on our team.
Why Choose Us?
Our innovative Main Street Model replaces the traditional, institutional setup with intimate neighborhoods of just 10-12 residents. These smaller, family-style settings allow you to truly know your residents, take pride in holistic care, and feel like you're part of a tight-knit team
Your Role:
As a nurse at Shaw Home, you'll provide comprehensive care - not just medications and charting, but real, hands-on support that makes a difference. You'll work alongside CNAs, homemakers and other healthcare professionals to cook meals in open kitchens, serve food hot off the stove, and help create the comforting sights, sounds, and smells of home.
What Makes This Different?
Lower Nurse-to-Resident Ratios - Care for just 10-12 residents, not 20-25 as experienced in the traditional nursing home model
Collaborative Care Teams - Nurses, CNAs, and homemakers working side-by-side
Homelike Setting - As a part of the team, you'll help to cook, serve, and clean up meals in the neighborhoods - with support from our talented kitchen staff
Non-Profit Mission - We're focused on people, not profits
What We’re Looking For:
Licensed Nurses (LPN or RN), & CNAs in good standing
A heart for elder care and a desire to work in a home, not a hospital
Willingness to pitch in with all aspects of resident life, including meals and daily activities
Team-oriented, compassionate, and dependable
