Job Type: Contract/Travel

Duration: 13 weeks + Possibilities of extension

Location: 75 Francis St, Boston, MA 02115

Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 & 15:00 - 23:30

Job Summary:
Responsible for performing sterile processing and sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment while following established procedures, infection control standards, industry standards, recommended sterilization practices, and regulatory requirements.

Functions/ Responsibilities:

• Process specialty and general medical instruments.
• Reset instrument sets accurately and without errors.
• Decontaminate instruments and equipment according to established procedures.
• Maintain Central Sterile Department stock levels.
• Prepare and assemble surgical trays and equipment according to established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing.
• Communicate instrument repair needs to the supervisor.
• Perform case cart assembly.
• Conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality and performance.
• Follow applicable infection control, sterilization, regulatory, and industry standards.
