About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Hydraulic Assembly & Test Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble, build, and test precision hydraulic components according to engineering blueprints and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP).
If you have hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, reading pressure gauges, and fine mechanical assembly, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly & Fabrication: Build hydraulic assemblies using arbor presses, micro-drills, lathes, and specialized fixtures.
- Testing & Data Logging: Perform ATP testing, set up test stands, read pressure/flow meters, and accurately record test data.
- Precision Finishing: Perform swaging (37°ree; and 45°ree; conical), torque sealing, lock-wiring, and micro-laser welding.
- Troubleshooting: Identify causes for test failures, rework rejected parts, and suggest corrective actions.
- Quality & Safety: Read technical blueprints, maintain a clean workstation, and safely handle tools and cleaning chemicals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on hydraulic assembly and testing experience.
- Ability to read blueprints, understand basic hydraulic concepts, and use measuring devices/gauges.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification in Hydraulic Principles is a big plus!
- Ability to stand, handle small parts, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs in a shop environment.
