Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray technology for a night shift position in Bluffton, Indiana. This role involves performing diagnostic radiography for emergency, outpatient, and inpatient services. The technologist will work independently during most shifts, ensuring timely imaging procedures, patient transport, and accurate billing, to support radiologists' diagnoses.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with every fifth weekend from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The night shifts are 10 hours and may be negotiated.
  • Required Qualifications: Indiana License: Radiologic Technologist, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Registered, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, at least 1 year CT (Computed Tomography) experience and competencies.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    • This position involves working independently as the only Radiologic Technologist on most shifts.
    • The technologist will perform ER and inpatient diagnostic x-ray procedures, transport patients as needed, and ensure exams are completed promptly for radiologist review.
    • The facility has 40 licensed beds with 10 swing beds and provides services to emergency department, outpatient, and inpatient units.
    • The imaging technologist must attach required license and certifications with their submission, and their driver's license and permanent home address must match identification.
    • Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
    • The work week consists of 40 hours on a 10-hour night shift.
