Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (INTRA CL) specialist position available in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves performing specialized radiographic procedures in accordance with department policies and protocols to ensure optimal patient care. The position emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient education, equipment management, and adherence to safety standards within a clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program; national certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable; advance certification in specialty within 18 months of hire if applicable; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of experience.
- Preferred qualifications include additional related education and/or experience.
- Responsibility Summary: Performs prescribed radiographic diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring quality images and accurate documentation. Educates patients and maintains equipment safety and performance, following radiation safety policies. Contributes to departmental workflow, maintains adequate supplies, and may supervise support staff or students. Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
- Additional Information: Role involves standing, walking, bending, and manual dexterity. May lift up to 75 pounds and requires effective communication skills. Use of personal protective equipment required due to exposure risks.
