JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM required)
  
• Licenses: Active Indiana medical license, Indiana Controlled Substance Registration, DEA with Indiana address
  
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Indiana address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, and 4
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
  
• Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine
  
• Other Qualifications: Current vaccinations, TB test, case logs, CME attestation, malpractice coverage history
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED
  
• Perform moderate sedation as needed
  
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff for patient management
  
• Maintain cross-credentialing and privileges at both Franciscan Health Munster and Franciscan Health Dyer
  
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and credentialing requirements
