Caseload

• Special Day Class (SDC)
• Placement in either a TK classroom or a Kindergarten–1st Grade classroom

Qualifications

• Active California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate OR Moderate/ Severe Support Needs required).
• Experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged students with disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, behavior supports, and differentiated instruction.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students' IEP goals.
• Develop and implement accommodations, modifications, and evidence-based instructional strategies.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate special education documentation.
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to support student success.
• Foster a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic, social, and behavioral growth.
