Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, teaching assistant, or in a similar classroom support position
• Familiarity with instructional strategies and classroom management
• Warm, patient, and collaborative demeanor with students and staff
• Ability to follow educator guidance and encourage student participation
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree a plus
• Adaptable, reliable, and able to respond effectively to changing classroom needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional support, reinforcing lessons and providing one-on-one or small group help
• Support students with special needs or learning differences to encourage engagement and progress
• Prepare and organize learning materials, activities, and classroom resources
• Help maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Monitor student behavior, provide supervision, and ensure safety at all times
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to implement individualized education and behavior plans
