Switch & Sensor Assembler Responsibilities
- Assemble switches, sensors, and related components according to work orders, written instructions, and shop aids
- Accurately verify parts, materials, and kit quantities before beginning assembly
- Perform detailed quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure products meet company standards
- Use hand tools and production equipment safely and effectively
- Follow established manufacturing procedures and instructions to maintain consistent product quality
- Monitor equipment during production and promptly report any issues to the appropriate supervisor or specialist
- Perform basic approved preventative maintenance as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Meet established production schedules and quality expectations
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet department goals
- Assist with training team members on departmental processes as experience and proficiency develop
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Perform additional production duties as needed to support the team
